Each of the planets represents a certain flavor of cosmic energy that corresponds to certain parts of the body, mind and spirit. The purpose of understanding our connection to our cosmic counterparts, is to help create positive thoughts and feelings that will help us become more harmonious with the planet's energy, resulting in more happiness, success and good fortune in life.

	SUN is the king of planets and supplies light and heat to all. The energy of the Sun is masculine, and represents the center of the cosmos, as well as the center of our power, vitality, and self awareness, The Sun's energy is also royal, gracious, and considerate, as well as controlling and leadership oriented. The positive energies of the Sun bring harmonious thoughts of vitality and power, and strong desire for compassion.
	MOON is a soft, emotional planet. The Moon's energy is feminine and represents the unconscious mind and feelings. The energy of the Moon is adaptable, dreamy, caring, and emotional, Moon energies give a desire for home, family and all maternal things. Emotional strength creates good health, therefore it is wise to understand the energies of the Moon as to avoid moodiness, depression and anxiety. She thrives on harmony inwardly and outward.
	MERCURY is the intellectual planet. Mercurian energies represent communication of thought, ideas and creativity. The energy can be witty, scientific, changeable, and persuasive. The energies of Mercury are neutral, and need to be balanced with rest and activity. Too much talking & thinking and not enough listening can cause imbalances both mentally and physically. Mercury energy needs time to unwind, relax and balance silence with communication.
	VENUS is a charismatic and affectionate planet. Venus energies are social and harmonious. She is feminine, sensitive, artistic and may be musically inclined. The planet of love is joyful, receptive, and playful. Desires to give and receive are natural Venus qualities. One must balance Venus energies so as not to become overly affectionate or dependant on others. Setting boundaries, and keeping a good routine are good ways to keep Venus energy in balance.
	MARS is a fiery, aggressive planet. The energy of Mars is masculine. This is the planet of impulsiveness, assertiveness and war. The positive qualities of Mars energies are leadership, power, strength, and high energy levels. Mars energies mix well with Venus to bring balance and evenness to the physical and emotional. Without boundaries and discipline Mars energy can get out of control causing sexual addictions, large appetite and overly controlling.
	JUPITER is a positive, harmonious, happy, fortunate, spiritual and dignified planet. The energies are masculine, Jupiter energy is expansive, and influential. They are associated with business, financial and religion. Jupiter energy desires material comfort as well as spiritual abundance. Those under the influence of Jupiter are happiest when relating to others.
	SATURN is a detached and elusive masculine planet. He demands hard work, practical and systematic thinking, responsibility and discipline. He desires organization and is concerned with security.His energy is cold, traditional, introverted. .Saturn energy desires planning and saving for the future and is cautious. If Saturn energy is left alone for long periods of time it can be come paranoid, fanatical and selfish. Partnerships and charity are two areas that Saturn must learn to incorporate into their lives. The harsh words of Saturn are “serve or suffer.”
